About a week and 1/2 ago...Chandler had his 3rd gym meet. It was here it town and he had hurt his hip a couple days prior so it wasn't his best showing...but he still medaled in vault. Here are some pics from his meet...

Then after his session, I volunteered at the next two sessions as a judges assistant. It was very interesting. I got to sit at the event and had to enter the scores for the score board. I also had a chance to talk to the judges about what they look for and what causes deductions. It was very enlightening. Although, I don't know how they can watch those routines and see all that is that very short time. They all seemed to have some sort of short hand and never looked down at the paper until each boy finished their routine.
Anyway...Chandler has one more meet. The state meet in Miami on the 15th & 16th. I think it will be very interesting for him!
